Ayni vaqtda 1956 yildan armiya bosh jarrohi. Mitral stenoz bo&#8217;lgan yurakni jahonda birinchi bo&#8217;lib operasiya qilgan (1953); sun&#8217;iy qon aylanish apparati yordamida &#8220;ochiq yurak&#8221; operasiyasini birinchi bo&#8217;lib amalga oshirgan (1957).
