O&#8217;zbekiston xalq artisti (1948). Buxoro maorif bilim yurtini tugatgan (1929). 1929-77 yillar Hamza teatrida aktyor (1975-77 yillar direktor). 30-yillar kalaf (K. Gossi, &#8220;Malikai Turandot&#8221;), Yarovoy (K. Trenyov, &#8220;Lyubov Yarovaya&#8221;) kabi obrazlarni yaratdi. Yuksak ijrochilik mahorati, sahnaviy jozibasi, ma&#8217;noli va nafis harakatlari, talaffuzining ravon va ohangdorligi \u2014 san&#8217;atkorning o&#8217;ziga xos ijodiy tabiatini belgiladi. Ijodi davomida 100 dan ortiq obrazlar yaratdi. Ularning badiiy darajasi \u2014 aktyorning xarakterli rollardan kura, e&#8217;tiqodli, Fozil va chuqur falsafiy fikrlaydigan, qat&#8217;iyatli shaxslar obrazini gavdalantirishga moyilligi ko&#8217;proq sezildi. O&#8217;zbek teatri tarixidan oltin sahifa bo&#8217;lib o&#8217;rin olgan obrazlaridan biri Hamlet (U. Shekspir, &#8220;Hamlet&#8221;)dir. U yaratgan Hamlet kuchli ehtirosi va ulug&#8217;vorligi bilan ajralib turadi (30 yil davomida uzluksiz ijro etgan). Aktyor Hamza (K. Yashin, A. Umariy, &#8220;Hamza&#8221;) obrazini yaratish bilan ham o&#8217;z ijodida alohida sahifa ochdi. Qahramoniga xos serg&#8217;ayrat harakatlar, shoirona tabiati, ichki va tashqi qiyofasini ochishda Hamza bilan shaxsan tanish bo&#8217;lgani katta yordam berdi. Aktyor o&#8217;z qahramonini ijtimoiypsixologik obraz darajasiga ko&#8217;tarib muvaffaqiyat qozondi (&#8220;O\u2019zbekfilm&#8221;da yaratilgan &#8220;Hamza&#8221; badiiy film&#8221;da ham Hamza obrazi Xo&#8217;jayev tomonidan yaratilgan). &#8220;Alisher Navoiy&#8221; (Uyg&#8217;un, I. Sulton) dramasidagi Navoiy obrazi nafaqat teatr tarixida, balki aktyor ijodida ham aloxida o&#8217;ringa ega. Hayotga chinakam ijodkor ko&#8217;zi bilan qaragan, o&#8217;zbek xalqining porloq kelajagiga ishonchini o&#8217;z asarlarida ehtiros bilan kuylagan, davlat ichidagi ijtimoiy ziddiyatlar, xalq va saroy o&#8217;rtasidagi qarama-qarshiliklarni aql-idrok kuchi bilan hal qilgan dovyurak shoir va ulug&#8217; mutafakkir qiyofasini yorqin gavdalantira oldi. Navoiy obrazini lirik-falsafiy yo&#8217;sinda hal etib, insoniy, ijtimoiy va ijodiy faoliyatini uning shoirlik tabiati bilan ochib berdi. Xo&#8217;jayev bu rolni sahnada 25 yil davomida ijro etdi va Davlat mukofotiga sazovor bo&#8217;ldi (1949). Karl Moor (F. Shiller, &#8220;Qaroqchilar&#8221;), Sattor (B. Rahmonov, &#8220;yurak sirlari&#8221;), Chjin Gun (Van Shi Fu, &#8220;may to&#8217;kildi&#8221;), Astrov (A. Chexov, &#8220;Vanya tog&#8217;a&#8221;), nolinakxa (R. Tagor, &#8220;Gang daryosining qizi&#8221;), Polvonov (S. Azimov, &#8220;Yulduzlar jamoli&#8221;), Sodiq Sobirovich (uyg&#8217;un, &#8220;qotil&#8221;) kabi obrazlari aktyor ijodining yangi qirralarini ochdi. &#8220;Imon&#8221; (I. Sulton) dagi Komilov obrazi o&#8217;zining badiiy yaxlitligi, hayotiyligi bilan ajralib turadi. Obraz bilan aktyor o&#8217;rtasidagi uyg&#8217;unlik, tengqurlik, ularning axloqiy, ma&#8217;naviy va insoniy qarashlar jihatidan bir-biriga yaqinligi, inson psixologiyasini yaxshi bilishi san&#8217;atkorga sahnada ziyolining badiiy umumlashma qiyofasini gavdalantirishga imkon berdi. X. Paratov (A. Ostrovskiy, &#8220;Sepsiz qiz&#8221;), Solihboy (Hamza, &#8220;boy ila xizmatchi&#8221;), ayniqsa, Yago, Yuliy Tsezar (U. Shekspir, &#8220;Otello&#8221;, &#8220;Yuliy Tsezar&#8221;) kabi salbiy obrazlarni mohirona talqin etdi. Aktyor sahnada yaratgan yirik obrazlaridan yana biri Qirol Lir (U. Shekspir, &#8220;Qirol Lir&#8221;) bo&#8217;lib, bu obrazni aktyor psixologik o&#8217;tkir, ijtimoiy, falsafiy va g&#8217;oyaviy mazmunga to&#8217;la tarzda gavdalantirdi. Salvador Alende (V. Chichkov, &#8220;Chili, senga ishonaman&#8221;), Kreont (Sofokl, &#8220;Antigona&#8221;), Mattias Klauzen (N. Gauptman, &#8220;Quyosh botish arafasida&#8221;) kabi g&#8217;oyaviybadiiy mukammal obrazlarni aktyor umrining so&#8217;nggi yillarida yaratgan. Xo&#8217;jayev rejissyor sifatida &#8220;may to&#8217;kildi&#8221; (Van Shi Fu), &#8220;Abu Rayhon Beruniy&#8221; (Uyg&#8217;un), &#8220;yurak sirlari&#8221; (B. Rahmonov), &#8220;Boy ila xizmatchi&#8221; (Hamza, Bolgariyaning Xaskovo teatrida) singari spektakllarni sahnalashtirgan. Kinoda Hakimboyvachcha (&#8220;qutlug&#8217;qon&#8221;), Davronbek (&#8220;farzandlar&#8221;), Obiliy (&#8220;Umid&#8221;) kabi rollari bilan tanildi. O&#8217;zbekiston teatr arboblari uyushmasining raisi (1955-77). Hamza nomidagi O&#8217;zbekiston Davlat mukofoti laureati (1967). Vafotidan so&#8217;ng &#8220;Buyuk xizmatlari uchun&#8221; ordeni bilan mukofotlangan (2002). Sirdaryo teatri, Buxoro madaniyat kolleji, Toshkent o&#8217;rta maktablaridan biriga Xo&#8217;jayev nomi berilgan. Ad.: Feldman Ya. S, Olim Xo&#8217;jaev, T., 1961.
