Uning pastki barglari buyraksimon (yoki uch bo&#8217;lakli), yirik arra tishli, yuqoridagilari ipsimon bo&#8217;lakchalarga bo&#8217;lingan. Gullari mayda, oq, murakkab soyabonga to&#8217;plangan. Arpabodiyonning mevasi tarkibida 3,2%, ba&#8217;zan 6% gacha efir moyi va 28% gacha boshqa moylar bor. Efir moyi tarkibida 90% gacha anetol bo&#8217;ladi. Mevasi va efir moyidan tayyorlangan preparatlar balg&#8217;am ko&#8217;chiruvchi sifatida qo&#8217;llaniladi. Arpabodiyon mevasi va efir moyi oziq-ovqat sanoatida ishlatiladi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ARPABODIYON (pazandalikda) \u2014 shirmoy nonlarning paygari (xamirturushi)ni tayyorlashda ishlatiladi.
