Boshan, R. Fyoye, Fave, P. Romo) raqsni yozib olish tizimini ishlab chiqdilar. &#8220;Xoreografiya&#8221; atamasi dastlab R. Fyoye tomonidan &#8220;xoreografiya, yoxud raqs yozuvi san&#8217;ati&#8221; kitobi (1700)da qo&#8217;llanilgan. 20-asr davomida dunening turli mamlakatlarida raqs yozishning 70 dan ortiq tizimlari joriy qilingan bo&#8217;lib, shu asosda xalq raqslari, balet spektakllarini yozib olish yo&#8217;lga qo&#8217;yilgan. Ularni, asosan, 3 toifaga bo&#8217;lish mumkin: rake harakatlarini shartli belgilar bilan ifoda qilish, so&#8217;z bilan bayon etish va nota yozuvida shartli belgilar qo&#8217;shib yozish. Oxirgi bandi Xitoy va Janubiy Koreyada keng tarqalgan. O&#8217;zbekistonda garchi raqs asrlar davomida yashab, rivojlanib kelgan bo&#8217;lsada, o&#8217;tmishda raqs yozilmagan. Natijada qanchadanqancha mumtoz va xalq raqslari izsiz yo&#8217;qolib ketgan. 1936\u2014 41 yillardagina etnograf Iraida vaxta &#8220;Katta o&#8217;yin&#8221; nomli Farg&#8217;ona raqs turkumini so&#8217;z bilan yozib olgan. Unga G&#8217;ulom Zafariy va musiqashunos E. Romanovskaya yaqindan yordam bergan. Shu davrda Usta olim Komilov bilan Tamaraxonim &#8220;Doyra darsi&#8221; mashg\u2019ulotlarini yaratib, shu asosda yosh ijrochilarni tarbiya qila boshlagan. Ammo rake yozuvini yaratish uchun muayyan bir tizim ishlab chiqish lozim edi. Bu ishni Roziya Karimova raqs harakatlari asosida ishlab chiqdi. &#8220;Farg&#8217;ona raqsi&#8221;, &#8220;Xorazm raqsi&#8221;, &#8220;Buxoro raqsi&#8221;, qo&#8217;llanmalari, &#8220;O&#8217;zbek raqslari&#8221; darsligi va boshqalar; 2) xalq raqsi yo&#8217;nalishidagi va balet spektakllarini ijod qilish san&#8217;ati. Shu ma&#8217;noda \u201cXoreografiya\u201d atamasi 19-asr o&#8217;rtalaridan qo&#8217;llana boshlagan. Shu sababli &#8220;baletmeyster&#8221; atamasi o&#8217;rniga ba&#8217;zan &#8220;xoreograf&#8221; atamasi ishlatiladi; 3) san&#8217;atshunoslikda 19-asr oxiri \u2014 20-asr boshlaridan &#8220;Xoreografiya&#8221; atamasi umuman raqs san&#8217;atini, balet teatrini ifodalovchi keng ma&#8217;noda ishlatila boshlandi.
