E. Rezerford 1911 yilda ifodalab bergan. Bu formulani Rezerford azarralarning yupqa metall plastinkalardan katta burchaklarga (9>90\u00b0) sochilishi bo&#8217;yicha o&#8217;tkazgan tajribalari natijasini interpretatsiya kilish (izoxlash) da ishlatgan. Bu tajribalar asosida E. Rezerford atom massasining asosiy qismi musbat zaryadlangan kichik yadroda yig&#8217;ilgan, degan xulosaga kelgan.
