Homiladorlikdan saqlanishning tabiiy va sun&#8217;iy usullari mav jud. Har 3 oyda bir marta yuboriladigan in&#8217;ektsiya homiladorlikdan saqlanishni ta&#8217;minlaydi. Homiladorlikdan saqlanish vositalarining o&#8217;ta afzalliklari bilan bir qatorda, uchrashi mumkin bo&#8217;lgan salbiy oqibatlari ham bor. Har bir ayol organizmi o&#8217;ziga xos xususiyatga ega bo&#8217;lib, bir organizm uchun foydali narsa boshqasiga zararli bo&#8217;lishi ham mumkin. Shuning uchun Homiladorlikdan saqlanishni ahd qilgan ayol o&#8217;ziga beziyon kontratseptiv vositalardan foydalanishi va buning uchun albatta doimiy tibbiy ko&#8217;rigida bo&#8217;ladigan o&#8217;z shifokori bilan maslahatlashib olishi kerak. Hozirgi kontratsepsiya vositalari avval mavjud bo&#8217;lgan usullardan xavfsiz va yuqori samarali, ularni qo&#8217;llash tez-tez abort qildirishdan ko&#8217;ra afzalroq.
