Operatorlik san&#8217;atining rivoji kino san&#8217;ati, tasviriy san&#8217;at, teatr, dramaturgiya va boshqalar rivoji bilan chambarchas bog&#8217;liq. Operator rejissyor, rassom, filmning boshka ijodkorlari bilan hamkorlikda kinematografik texnika va zamonaviy uslub asosida filmning tasviriy talqini, suratga olish jarayonini ishlab chiqadi. Suratga olingan tasvir sifati operator mahoratiga bog&#8217;liq; u suratga olish jarayonida umumiy, o&#8217;rta, yirik planlardan, rakurs va yorug&#8217;lik-nurdan, kinokadr kompozitsiyasidan maqsadga muvofiq foydalanadi. Operatorlik san&#8217;atining o&#8217;ziga xosligi shundaki, u ekranda narsalarning nafaqat shakl, rang, hajmini, suratga olish joyining manzara va masofasini to&#8217;g&#8217;ri, butun boricha tasvirlash san&#8217;atini ko&#8217;rsatishga, balki harakat tezligi, sur&#8217;ati va yo&#8217;nalishiga imkoniyat yaratadi. Xronikal-hujjatli kino operatori kinojurnalist vazifasini, ilmiy-ommabop va o&#8217;quv kinosi yaratilishida operator ko&#8217;proq muallif-operator vazifasini bajaradi. Har bir filmning postanovkachi operatori va ularga yordamchi operatorlar bo&#8217;ladi. Yordamchi operator postanovkachi-operator topshirig&#8217;i bilan ish ko&#8217;radi. Birinchi o&#8217;zbek kinooperatori Xudoybergan Devonov o&#8217;z faoliyatini 1907-08 yillar boshlagan. o&#8217;zbek kinosining dastlabki yillarida F. Verigodarovskiy, A. Ginzburg, A. Bulinskiy kabi chetdan kelgan mutaxassislar faoliyat ko&#8217;rsatgan. 30-yillarning boshlarida o&#8217;zbek operatorlaridan M. Qayumov, O. Tursunov, A. Saidov, M. Krasnyanskiy va boshqalar ish boshlagan. Keyinroq O&#8217;zbekistonga kelib ishlagan ukrain operatori D. Demuskiy faoliyati respublikamizda Operatorlik san&#8217;atining yuksalishida alohida o&#8217;ringa ega. U operatorlik qilgan &#8220;Nasriddin Buxoroda&#8221;, &#8220;Tohir va Zuhra&#8221;, &#8220;Nasriddinning sarguzashtlari&#8221; kabi filmlar eng yaxshi milliy kino asarlaridir. 50-yillarda N. Ryadov, A. Pann, P. Rasulov, X. Fayziyev kabi milliy suratga olish ustalari kirib keldi. 60-70-yillarga kelib o&#8217;zbek operatorlari film mavzuini kengaytirish uchun yangi uslublar topishda izlandilar. D. Fatxullin (&#8220;Nafosat&#8221;), Davron Salimov (&#8220;Doyra&#8221;), T. Ro&#8217;ziyev (&#8220;yor-yor&#8221;), Sh. Junaydullayev (&#8220;Dilbarim&#8221;) kabi yangi kuchlarning kelib qo&#8217;shilishi filmlarning tasvir imkoniyatlarini yanada kengaytirdi. 70-80-yillar o&#8217;zbek kinosida keng tarqalgan janr va mavzu xilma-xilligi yangicha fikrlaydigan operatorlar yetishib chiqishini ta&#8217;minladi. Ayniqsa, A. Ismoilov (&#8220;Shiddat&#8221;), Sh. Mahmudov (&#8220;Ajoyib xayolparast&#8221;), T. Qayumov (&#8220;Jazirama quyosh ostidagi uy&#8221;), E. A&#8217;zamov, L. Simbirsev (&#8220;ota nasihati&#8221;), D. Abdullauev (&#8220;Vatanga xizmat qilib&#8221;), N. G&#8217;ulomov (&#8220;Suyunchi&#8221;), B. Nazarov (&#8220;So&#8217;z raisga&#8221;) kabi operatorlarning xizmatlari alohida. Mustaqillikdan so&#8217;ng Operatorlik san&#8217;ati yanada gurkirab o&#8217;sdi, imkoniyatlar kengaydi, janr va uslub jixatdan chuqurlashdi. Galiev), &#8220;Yolg&#8217;iz yodgorim&#8221; (U. Hamroyev), &#8220;Ayollar saltanati&#8221; (H. Fayziev,) &#8220;Tilsimoy \u2014 g&#8217;aroyib qizaloq&#8221; (M.
