Bir aminokislo- taning SX-aminoguruhi (NH2) ikkinchi aminokislotaning a -karboksil guruhi b-n reaktsiyaga kirishi natijasida hosil bo&#8217;ladi. Bu reaktsiyada bir molekula suv ajraladi. Oqsillar va peptidlar tarki- bidagi \u2014 so\u2014NH\u2014 guruhi keto-enol tautomeriya (ayrim kimyoviy birikmalar- ning bir-biriga erkin holda aylanish xususiyatiga ega bulgan strukturaviy izo- merlar ko&#8217;rinishida bo&#8217;lishi) hola-tida bo&#8217;ladi. Tautomeriya tufayli P. b.ning 40% dan ko&#8217;proq qismi qo&#8217;shbog&#8217;li. Bu esa peptid zanjirning uzunligini yakka bog&#8217;holatdagiga nisbatan birmuncha qisqartirishga olib keladi. Tirik or- ganizmlarda P. b.ning hosil bo&#8217;lishi fermentativ re-aktsiyalar yordamida amalga oshiriladi. Lab. sharoitida P. b.ni kimyoviy va fermentativ reaktsiya- lar yordamida sintez qilish va parchalash usullari ishlab chikilgan. Bu usullar tabiiy peptidlarni sintez qilishga va peptid hamda oqsillarning aminokis- lotali tarkibi-ni, ularning ketma-ket joylanish tar-tibini aniklashga imkon beradi. Peptidlar peptid bog&#8217;orqali birikkan bir xil yoki har xil amino- kislotalardan tashkil topgan organik birikmalardir.
