Suyuklanish t-rasi 208,5\u00b0, zichligi 4,352 g\/sm3, suvda (20\u00b0 da) 68,3% eriydi. Qizdirilganda (300\u00b0) kumush, azot, kislorod va azot OK- sidlariga parchalanadi. Kumushga nitrat kislota ta&#8217;sir ettirib olinadi. Yorug&#8217; sezgir fotomateriallar tayyorlash uchun asosiy xom ashyo hisoblanadi.
