O&#8217;zbekiston Qahramoni (1999). O&#8217;zbekistonda xizmat ko&#8217;rsatgan madaniyat xodimi (1968). Toshkent ras- somlik bilim yurtida, Toshkent pedago- gika in-tida o&#8217;qigan (1940-43). &#8220;Mush- tum&#8221; jur. (1938-39; 1955-57), &#8220;yosh leninchi&#8221; gaz. (1940-41), O&#8217;zbekiston radioqo&#8217;mitasi (1941 \u2014 43)da, &#8220;qizil O&#8217;zbekiston&#8221; gaz. (1943\u2014 47) va &#8220;Sharq yulduzi&#8221; (1948 \u2014 50; 1957-59) jur.da adabiy xodim. Birinchi hikoyalar to&#8217;plami \u2014 &#8220;Tortiq&#8221; (1940). &#8220;Er yurak&#8221; (1942), &#8220;Farg&#8217;ona hikoyalari&#8221; (1948), &#8220;cho&#8217;l burgu- ti&#8221; (1960), &#8220;cho&#8217;l oqshomlari&#8221;, &#8220;odam va bo&#8217;ron&#8221; to&#8217;plamlariga kirgan hikoyalarida zamondoshlarining murakkab taqdiri, ruhiy kechinmalari ehtiros b-n aks et- tirilgan. S.A. o&#8217;z hikoyalarida Oybek- ning psixologik tasvir mahorati, G&#8217;afur G&#8217;ulomning yumori, Abdulla Qahhor bayo- nidagi lakonizmdan o&#8217;rganishga intilgan va ular ijodi S.A.ning yozuvchi bo&#8217;lib eti- shishida &#8220;darslik&#8221; vazifasini o&#8217;tagan. Ayni paytda u hajvchi, yumorist sifati- da tanilgan. Ijodining kattagina qismi hajviy-yumoristik hikoyalar, qissalar, komediyalardan iborat. Romanlarida ham yumoristik yo&#8217;nalish muhim o&#8217;rin tutadi. Uning yumoristik mahorati &#8220;Kelinlar qo&#8217;zg&#8217;oloni&#8221; (1976), &#8220;kuyov&#8221; (1986) kome- diyalarida yorqin namoyon bo&#8217;lgan. &#8220;Ke- linlar qo&#8217;zg&#8217;oloni&#8221;dagi xalqona yumor b-n yo&#8217;g&#8217;rilgan Farmon Bibi millat men- talitetini, o&#8217;zligini, kuchli va ojiz jihatlarini o&#8217;zida mujassamlashtirgan betakror obraz darajasiga ko&#8217;tarilgan. &#8220;Ufq&#8221; trilogiyasi (1964-74), &#8220;jim- jitlik&#8221; romani (1988) adib ijodida alohida o&#8217;rin tutadi. &#8220;Ufq&#8221; romani 20- a. millat hayotining o&#8217;n yillik davri \u2014 2-jahon urushi, urush va urushdan keyin- gi yillar voqealarini o&#8217;z ichiga oladi. Trilogiyada o&#8217;sha yillari xalq boshiga tushgan musibatlar, odamlar ko&#8217;ksidagi armonlar, shu musibatlarni engishga qodir mislsiz matonat va shijoatlar yozuvchi iste&#8217;dodiga xos ehtiros, zo&#8217;r Ilhom b-n aks ettirilgan. Asarda Ikrom- jon, Jannat, Azizxon, Dildor, Asrora kabi teran, xalqchil, yorqin milliy ob- razlar yaratilgan. &#8220;Jimjitlik&#8221; Roma- nida esa sirtdan tinch, sokin ko&#8217;ringan sho&#8217;ro davrining ichki dramalari, tuzum inqirozi butun keskinligi, shiddati b-n ko&#8217;rsatilgan. Asardagi deyarli barcha etakchi personajlar fojeiy qismat ega- laridir. Roman o&#8217;zining asov, &#8220;bebosh&#8221; ifoda tarzi b-n jozibalidir. S.A. istiqlol yillarida ham hayotdagi o&#8217;zgarishlar haqida ko&#8217;plab maqola, badialar yozdi, avvalgidek quvnoq yumoristik, jo&#8217;shqin lirik hikoyalar yaratdi. &#8220;Xandon pista&#8221; (1994), &#8220;Bir o&#8217;pichning bahosi&#8221; (1995) hajviy to&#8217;plamlari, &#8220;Yo&#8217;qotganlarim va top- ganlarim&#8221; (1998), &#8220;Qorako&#8217;z Majnun&#8221; (2001), &#8220;Kiprikda qolgan tong&#8221; (2003) kitoblari, 3 jildli &#8220;tanlangan asarla- ri&#8221; (2000) chop etildi. &#8220;Yo&#8217;qotganlarim va topganlarim&#8221;da G&#8217;afur G&#8217;ulom, Oybek, Mirtemir, Shayxzoda, Saida Zunnunova va b. bir qator zabardast o&#8217;zbek yozuvchi va shoirlarining jonli qiyofasini badiiy bo&#8217;yoqlarda ifodalab berdi. Istiqlol tu- fayli odamlar qismati va ruhiyatidagi evrilishlar haqida bahs etuvchi &#8220;Qorako&#8217;z Majnun&#8221;, &#8220;ot bilan suhbat&#8221;, &#8220;Azroil o&#8217;tgan yo&#8217;llarda&#8221; hikoyalari, qatag&#8217;on dav &#8211; ri xotiralari b-n bog&#8217;liq &#8220;borsa kelmas darvozasi&#8221;, &#8220;taqdir, taqdir&#8230;&#8221;, &#8220;Oftob oyim&#8221; hikoyalari, adibning o&#8217;zi yaqindan muloqotda bo&#8217;lgan ustoz adiblar, teng- doshlari, shogirdlari va, nihoyat, o&#8217;z hayot va ijod yo&#8217;li haqidagi xotiraessela- ri mustaqillik davri o&#8217;zbek adabiyoti- da muhim hodisa bo&#8217;ddi. S.A.gagina xos nozik kuzatishlar, erkin, asov bir ruh, ham hazin, ham nurli, pokiza tuyg&#8217;ular, beg&#8217;ubor hazilmutoibalar b-n yo&#8217;g&#8217;rilgan xotiraesselar bu janrning zamonaviy o&#8217;zbek adabiyotidagi eng yaxshi namunala- ri qatorida turadi. Feleton janrida xam samarali ijod qilgan. 1947 y. &#8220;xalq dushmani&#8221; sifatida hibsga olingan. Sta- Lin vafotidan so&#8217;ng oqlangan. &#8220;Kelinlar qo&#8217;zg&#8217;oloni&#8221;, &#8220;kuyov&#8221; komediyalari hoz. O&#8217;zbek milliy akademik teatrida, &#8220;Ke- linlar qo&#8217;zg&#8217;oloni&#8221; dunyoning ko&#8217;plab mam- lakatlarida sahnalashtirilgan. &#8220;Ufq&#8221; asari asosida dramalar, &#8220;O&#8217;zbekfilm&#8221; kinostudiyasida &#8220;muhabbat mojarosi&#8221; filmi (1970) va b. yaratilgan. &#8220;Do&#8217;stlik&#8221; (1996), &#8220;Buyuk xizmatlari uchun&#8221; (1997) ordenlari b-n mukofotlangan.
