Bareliy (&#8220;Tazkirai shoiroti urdu&#8221; \u2014 &#8220;Urdu shoirlarining tazkirasi&#8221;), Sherxoni Ludiy (&#8220;Mirot ul-xayol&#8221; \u2014 &#8220;Xayol oynasi&#8221;), Hakimxon To&#8217;ra (&#8220;Muntaxab ut-tavorix&#8221; \u2014 &#8220;Tanlangan tarixlar&#8221;), Fazliy (&#8220;Majmuai shoiron&#8221; \u2014 &#8220;Shoirlar majmuasi&#8221;) va boshqa tarixchi va tazkiranavis olimlar asarlarida Zebunniso begim hayoti va ijodi haqida ma&#8217;lumotlar uchraydi. Otasi Avrangzeb qizida she&#8217;r va shoirlikka mayl sezgach, o&#8217;sha davrning mashhur olimi Mullo Muhammad Sayd Ashraf Isfaxoniyni unga muallim qilib tayinladi. Zebunniso begim bu olimning tarbiyasida zabardast shoira, olima, sozanda va xattot bo&#8217;lib voyaga yetdi. So&#8217;ngra ilohiyotga oid bir asar yozib, uni shu ustoziga bag&#8217;ishladi. Zebunniso begim o&#8217;zbek, fors, Arab tillarining sarfu nahvi (morfologiya va sintaksis) ni o&#8217;zlashtirgan. Xusrav Dehlaviy, Navoiy, Bobur asarlarini sinchiklab o&#8217;rgangan. Hindiston olimlari, shoirlari va san&#8217;at ahllariga ko&#8217;p g&#8217;amxo&#8217;rliklar qilib, o&#8217;z zamonida ilm va san&#8217;atning rivojlanishiga zo&#8217;r ta&#8217;sir qilgan. O&#8217;sha zamonning ko&#8217;p olimlari shaxsan Zebunniso begimdan maosh olar edilar. Shuning uchun ham tarixchilar unga yuksak baho berib, Zebunniso begim otasi hukmdorlik bilan qozona olmagan shuhratni ilm va odob bilan qozongan deb ta&#8217;kidlaydilar. Shoira ijodining shakllanishi va kamolga yetishida adabiy muhitning ta&#8217;siri kuchli bo&#8217;lgan. Akasi A&#8217;zamshohning adabiyotga qiziqishi, uyida bo&#8217;lib turadigan mushoiralar unda she&#8217;riyatga havas uyg&#8217;otadi. Yetuk shoir va olimlar bilan tanishadi. Ayniqsa, Zebunniso begimning Bedil bilan mushoiralar qilishi ikki buyuk talent mehnatiga barhayotlik bag&#8217;ishladi. Shoira murakkab, ziddiyatli bir davrda yashab, ijod etdi. 19 yoshidayoq ko\u2019p ayanchli voqealarning shohidi bo&#8217;ldi. Avrangzeb saltanat uchun kurashda akasi Doroshukuh, ukalari murodbaxsh va Shohshujo&#8217;larni yengib, taxtni egallaydi (1658), kasalmand otasi Shohjahonni 16 yil uy qamog&#8217;ida asraydi. O&#8217;z o&#8217;g&#8217;li Akbarni taxt uchun kurashda ayblaydi. Qizi \u2014 Zebunniso begimni ham bu ishda hamfikr hisoblab, Dehlidagi Salimgarhi qo&#8217;rg&#8217;onidan chiqarmaydi. Mamlakatdagi notinch hayot, saltanat uchun kurashning avj olishi shoira dunyoqarashini tubdan o&#8217;zgartirdi. Zebunniso begim ijodida ijtimoiy-falsafiy fikrlar chuqurroq ildiz ota boshladi. Dastlabki she&#8217;rlaridayoq tabiat tasviri orqali insonning orzu-umidlarini, adolat va haqiqatni kuyladi. Rostlikni, haqqoniylikni targ&#8217;ib qildi, aldamchi, firibgarlardan nafratlandi (&#8220;Agar jannatni va&#8217;da qilsada, u odam so&#8217;ziga aldanma&#8230;&#8221;). Zebunniso begim ijodining ba&#8217;zi tomonlari Bedil falsafasiga hamohang. Shoira insonning go&#8217;zalligi keltirgan foydali ishida, mehnatida, qadrqimmati uning maqsadida deb biladi. Zebunniso begimning asosiy mashg&#8217;uloti she&#8217;riyat, musiqa, ilm bo&#8217;lgan. U butun huzur-halovatni, taqdir va baxtni, kishilar orzu qilgan jannatni xam kitobda \u2014 ilmda, deb bilgan. Lirik she&#8217;rlar bilan birga odob va axloqqa oid &#8220;Zeb uttafosir&#8221; (&#8220;Go&#8217;zal tafsirlar&#8221;), &#8220;Zeb unnashot&#8221; (&#8220;Nash&#8217;alar ziynati&#8221;) va tasavvuf falsafasiga doir &#8220;Munis ularvoh&#8221; (&#8220;Ruhlarning sodiq do&#8217;sti&#8221;) kabi risolalar ham yozgan. She&#8217;rlari ajdodlarining yurti Markaziy Osiyoda, Hindiston, Afg&#8217;oniston, Eron, Pokiston va boshqalar. Sharq mamlakatlarida keng tarqalgan. G&#8217;azallari o&#8217;zbek xalqining sevimli qo&#8217;shiqlariga aylangan. Hoziq, Xiromiy, Nodir, Sobir Abdulla va boshqalar Zebunniso begim g&#8217;azallariga muxammaslar bog&#8217;laganlar. Shoiraning she&#8217;riy merosi bizgacha to&#8217;liq yetib kelmagan. 8000 misrali bir devoni (g&#8217;azallari), 7 qasidasi, 5 tarje&#8217;band va bir muxammasigina saqlanib qolgan. Ba&#8217;zi manbalarda shoiraning &#8220;Maxfiy&#8221; taxallusi bilan ijod qilgani aytiladi. 19 asr 2-yarmi \u2014 20 asr boshlarida ko&#8217;chirilgan &#8220;Devoni maxfiy&#8221; Zebunniso begimga nisbat beriladi. Zebunniso begim asarlari qo&#8217;lyozmasi dunyodagi ko&#8217;pgina kutubxonalarda, shu jumladan, O&#8217;zbekiston Fanlar Akademiyasi Sharqshunoslik institutida saqlanadi (inv. \u2116 2590, 1269, 1936).
