Ijodining dastlab- ki davrida (&#8220;Melita&#8221;, &#8220;beva&#8221; va b.) ko- mediyalar yozgan (1969-36). &#8220;Sid&#8221; (1637), &#8220;Medeya&#8221; (1639), &#8220;Gorasiya&#8221; (1641) kabi tragediyalari mashxur. K. bu asarlari- ni yaratishda antik davr ijodkorlari asarlariga, shuningdek, muayyan tarixiy voqealar hamda tarixiy shaxslar faoliya- tiga tayangan.
