Issiqlikdan kengayish koeffisienti kichikligi, issiqbardoshligi va korrozi- yabardoshligi yuqoriligi, magnit xossa- lari yaxshiligi b-n boshqa qotishmalardan farq qiladi. Kobaltning temir, xrom, nikel, molibden, volfram va b. og&#8217;ir metallar b-n qotishmalari keng ishlati- ladi. K.q. kesuvchi asboblar qirralariga va mashina detallariga eritib yopishti- riladigan qattiq: yuqori t-Rada ishlay- digan detallar, mas, turboreaktiv DVI- gatellarning parraklarini tayyorlashda ishlatiladigan issiqbardosh; doimiy magnitlar, induktivlik g&#8217;altaqlari tayyorlashda ishlatiladigan magnitli qotishmalarga bo&#8217;linadi. Deformasiya- bop va quymabop qotishmalari ham bor. Deformasiyabop K. q. asosini kobalt va xrom (ba&#8217;zan, nikel) tashkil etadi. Qotishmaning issiqbardoshligini oshi- rish uchun unga qiyin suyuqlanadigan elementlar \u2014 molibden, volfram, niobiy, uglerod va oz miqdorda bor qo&#8217;shiladi. Deformasiyabop K. q.ni 1150-1200\u00b0 gacha qizdirib, havo va suvda toblansa hamda 750-800\u00b0 gacha qizdirib bo&#8217;shatilsa (chiniqtirilsa), mexaniq va issiqbardoshlik xossalari juda yaxshi- lanadi. Kuymabop K. q. asosan, karbid fazalar hisobiga mustahkamlanadi. Etarli miqdorda karbidlar hosil qilish uchun esa qotishmaga uglerod, xrom, mo- libden yoki volfram, bor qo&#8217;shiladi.
