I. f. ning sintezlanishi induktorlar (faollashtiruvchilar) ta&#8217;- sirida genetik darajada boshqariladi. Bu jarayon induktorlar yor-damida amalga oshiriladi. Induktorlar sifatida sub- stratlar, metabolitlar, shuningdek, gor- monlar ishtirok etishi mumkin. Odatda, I. f. organizmda juda kam miqsorda uchraydi. Birok, muhitga substrakt yoki boshqa induktor qo&#8217;shilsa, fermentlar kontsentrasiyasi qisqa vaqt ichida ming marta, hatto undan ko&#8217;proq oshishi mum- kin. I. f. ga misol kilib, ayrim mikroor- ganizmlarni sintezlaydigan r&#8221;-Galak- tozidaza (laktozani monosaxaridlargacha gidrolitik parchalanishini katalizlay- Di) fermentini ko&#8217;rsatish mumkin.
