Surat olishda to&#8217;lqin uz. 760 dan 1500 nm gacha bo&#8217;lgan infraqizil elektromag- nit nurlanishlardan foydalaniladi. I. f. bevosita yoki bilvosita usullar- da amalga oshiriladi. Bevosita usulda infraqizil nurlarga sezgir fotopla- stinka yoki plyonkalar (infrafo-toma- teriallar) qo&#8217;llanadi. Bilvosita usul- da fotoapparatning ob&#8217;ektivi oldiga o&#8217;rnatiladigan maxsus elektron-optik tizimli moslama ishlatiladi. U narsa- ning ko&#8217;zga ko&#8217;rinmaydigan tasvi-rini ko&#8217;zga ko&#8217;rinadigan tasvirga aylantirib, tasvir ravshanligini ham kuchaytirib beradi. Bunda ko&#8217;zga ko&#8217;rinadigan nurla- nishlar (yorug&#8217;lik) ni seza oladigan oddiy fotoplyonkalar b-n qorong&#8217;ida xam foto- suratlar olish mumkin (rasmga q.). I. f. ning oddiy fotografiyaga nis- batan ko&#8217;pgina afzalliklari bor. Mas, infraqizil nurlar bir jinsli bo&#8217;lmagan muxit (atmosfera tumani) dan o&#8217;tga-nida ko&#8217;zga ko&#8217;rinadigan nurlanishga nisba- tan kam sochiladi, intensivligi deyarli o&#8217;zgarmaydi, shuning uchun I. f. yordamida uzokdagi ob&#8217;ektlarning aniq tasvirla- rini olish mumkin. Ko&#8217;zga ko&#8217;rinadigan va infraqizil nurlanishlarning jism (muhit) lardan o&#8217;tish va qaytish koeffi- tsientlari har xil. Shu sababli I. f. da oddiy yoruglikda ko&#8217;zga ko&#8217;rinmaydigan detallarni infraqizil nurlanishlar yordamida ajratish mumkin. I. f. ning bunday xususiyatlaridan, mas, bota-Nika- da o&#8217;simliklar kasalliklarini (2-rasm). Qora ko&#8217;ylak kiygan qo&#8217;g&#8217;irchoq fotogra- fiyasi: a \u2014 ko&#8217;zga ko&#8217;rinadigan nurla- nishda; b \u2014 infraqizil nurlanishda. Inf-raqizil fotografiyada kiyimning turli rangda bo&#8217;lishi uning turli Mate- riallardan tayorlanganligini ko&#8217;rsatadi (bu materiallarning infraqizil nur- lanishni qaytarish qobiliyati turlicha- dir).
