(+) izomer g.k. jonivorlar uchun almashtiriladigan aminokislota hisoblanadi. Kazein, jelatina, kleyko- vina tarki-bida ko&#8217;p miqdorda bo&#8217;ladi. Qon plazmasi o&#8217;zining u-monoamidi \u2014 glutamin b-n birga barcha erkin aminokislotalarning 1\/3 qismini tashkil qiladi. r.K.+NH3+AT&lt;t>\u00a3\u00b1 glutamin+ADF+N3RO4 anorganik reak- tsiyasi liazalar guruhiga mansub gluta- minsintetaza fermenti (q. Fermentlar) yordamida amalga oshadi, bunda jonivor- lar va o&#8217;simliklar to&#8217;qimalarida ortiqcha ammiakning bog&#8217;lanishi sodir bo&#8217;ladi. Shu tariqa glutamin ammiakni deoksi- kasiya joyiga (aksari hollarda buyrak va jigarda) yo&#8217;naltiradi, u aminoguruhlar uchun zaxira bo&#8217;lib ham xizmat qiladi va oqsillar tarkibiga kiradi. Moddalar almashinuvida ayniqsa glutamin \u2014 g.k. sistemasi muxim rol o&#8217;ynaydi.
