Milodning boshlarida u yerda &#8220;podsho Kanishka Muzaffarning ibodatxonasi&#8221; joylashgan, uning xarobalari Afg&#8217;onistondagi hozirgi Bag&#8217;lon shahri yaqinida. Baland Surx ko&#8217;tal tepaligida saqlanib qolgan. U yerdan katta baqtriy yozuvida bitilgan toshtaxta topilgan, unga ko&#8217;ra bu ibodatxona milodiy 1-asrdagi Kushon podshosi Kanishka tomonidan qurilgan. 7-asrda Xitoy sayyohi Syuan Szan Toxaristonda Pokyelang mulkini qayd etib o&#8217;tadi, u ilk o&#8217;rta asrdagi Bag&#8217;longa to&#8217;g&#8217;ri keladi. Bag&#8217;lon qadimgi nomini shu kungacha saqlab qolgan bo&#8217;lib Bag&#8217;lon daryoning Kunduzdaryoga quyiladigan yeriga yaqin joylashgan. U yerda shifobaxsh Chashmai shir bulog&#8217;i mavjud. 13-asr boshida Bag&#8217;lonni mo&#8217;g&#8217;ullar bosib olgan. Mo&#8217;g&#8217;ullardan keyingi davr manbalarida Bag&#8217;lon yirik shahar sifatida qayd etilgan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BAG&#8217;LON \u2014 Afgoniston shimoldagi shahar, Surxob daryosi yaqinida, Kobul \u2014 Xonobod avtomobil yo&#8217;li yonida. Bag&#8217;lon viloyatining ma&#8217;muriy markazi. Aholisi 44,6 ming kishi (1987). Qand lavlagi yetishtiriladigan rayonning savdo markazi. Shakarqand ishlab chiqarish kichik korxonalari bor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BAG&#8217;LON \u2014 o&#8217;zbek xalqi tarkibiga kirgan 92 o&#8217;zbek urug&#8217; qabiladan biri. &#8220;Nasabnomayi o&#8217;zbek&#8221; asarida boshqa o&#8217;zbek urug&#8217;qabilalari qatorida sanab o&#8217;tilgan.
