Behining Ozarbayjon, Dog\u2019iston, Turkmaniston, Eronda yovvoyi turlari uchraydi, turk tilida ayva nomi bilan yuritilgan. Mahmud Koshg&#8217;ariyning &#8220;Devonu lug&#8217;otit turk&#8221; asarida &#8220;Avya&#8221; shaklida tilga olingan. Eti oq, tig&#8217;iz, o&#8217;rtacha suvli, shirin, xushxo&#8217;r. Oktabr boshlarida uziladi, yanvargacha saqlanadi. Tupi 150-200 kilogramm hosil beradi; Shirin Behi \u2014 ertapishar, xo&#8217;raki, daraxti o&#8217;rtacha. Mevasi 150-180 gramm, tilimli, noksimon, eti och sariq, sersuv, shirinnordon, yeyishli. Sentabrning ikkinchi yarmida uziladi, uzoq saqlanmaydi. Zararkunandalari: olma qurti, olma qon biti, nok kanasi, do&#8217;lana kapalagi va boshqalar; kasalliklari: qora chirish, zang va boshqalar.
