Biokompyuterning asosiy qismlari: axborotni matrisaviy parallel usulda kiritish qurilmasi; molekulyar tezkor xotiraga ega bo&#8217;lgan molekulyar mikroprotsessor; axborotni optik usulda kiritish va chiqarish qurilmalari. Axborotlarni to&#8217;plash, tarqatish, ularga ishlov berish va boshqaruv tizimlari kabi qurilmalar Biokompyuter asosida loyihalansa, har tomonlama ixcham va iqtisodiy jihatdan arzon bo&#8217;lgan ko&#8217;p funktsiyali biokomplekslarni ishlab chiqish imkoniyati paydo bo&#8217;ladi.
