Tirik organizmlarning tuzilishi va ish faoliyatini tahlil qilish asosida elektronika masalalarini yechadi. Quyidagi muammolarni o&#8217;rganadi: hayvonot dunyosi va inson nerv sistemasini tekshirish; mavjud kompyuterlarni va aloka texnikasini yanada takomillashtirish hamda avtomatika va telemexanikaning yangi elementlari va qurilmalarini yaratish maqsadida neyronlar va neyron sistemalarini (zanjirlarini) modellashtirish; turli iqtisodiy va texnikaviy masalalarni hal etish; elektron qurilmalarni o&#8217;ta ixchamlashtirish va boshqalar. Axborotga ishlov berish qurilmalari biosxemalar asosida yaratilsa, 3 o&#8217;lchamli (hajmiy) elektron tizimlarning 1 sm3ga 10&#8217;5-1018 ta integral ventilni joylashtirish mumkin. Bu holda bielektron qurilmalarning ishlash tezligi 100-1000 marta oshadi.
