Maxsus tuproq (Chinni gili), kaolin, kvars, dala shpati va boshqa xom ashyolar aralashmasidan tayyorlanadi. Chinnidan ro&#8217;zg&#8217;or buyumlari (choynak, piyola, kosa, likopchalar, laganlar), bezak buyumlari (guldon, haykalcha va boshqalar), me&#8217;morlik detallari, sanitariya-gigiena buyumlari ishlanadi, kislotalar ta&#8217;siriga chidamli (ftorid kislotadan tashqari) bo&#8217;lganidan kimyo sanoatida, elektr o\u2019tkazmasligi tufayli radiotexnika va elektrotexnikada foydalaniladi. Sifati jihatdan nafis Chinni (turkcha Farfur, forscha \u2014 fag&#8217;fur; eng sifatli Chinni tayyorlangan qadimgi Xitoy viloyatining nomi), dag&#8217;al Chinni. (fayans, italyancha \u2014 Faents; yirik keramika markazi bo&#8217;lgan shaharning nomi), texnik, xo\u2019jalik, sirlangan va sirlanmagan Chinni farqlanadi. Nafis Chinnining suvni singdirishi 0,5% gacha. Chinni mahsulotlari sirlanib, bo&#8217;yalib, gular solinib yoki gul bosilib ishlab chikariladi. Xitoyda 4-6-asrlarda chinnisozlik san&#8217;ati yuksak darajaga ko&#8217;tarilgan, Chinnining tarkibi va tayyorlash texnologiyasi sir saqlangan. 11 \u2014 14-asrlarda Eron, 16-asrda yapon Chinnisi shuhrat qozondi. 16-asrda Yevropada (Florentsiya, Frantsiya, Gollandiya, Angliyada) ilk Chinni buyumlari paydo bo&#8217;ldi, dastlabki Chinni zavodi 1710 yilda Maysenda, 1717\u201418 yillarda Venada, 1744 yilda Peterburgda qurildi. Daniya (Kopengagen), Shvesiya (Marieburg), Gollandiya (Been, Gaaga), Belgiya (turne), Shveytsariya (Syurix), Chexiya (Slavkov, Klashteres) badiiy Chinnisi shuxrat qozondi. 18-asr va 19-asrda Chinnidan bezak mahsulotlar va badiiy buyumlar yasalgan. 20-asr boshlaridagina Chinni sanoat miqyosida ishlab chiqarila boshlagan. O&#8217;rta Osiyoga Chinni qadimdan Xitoy va Erondan, keyinchalik Rossiyadan keltirilgan. Mahalliy kulollar (ayniksa, Rishton kulollari) sopolning Chinniga yakin xillarini ishlashgan.
