Geografiya fanlari nomzodi (1944), dotsent (1945). O’rta Osiyo davlat universiteti (keyinroq ToshDU deb atalgan) geografiya fakulteti dekani (1945-68). Ilmiy faoliyati O’zbekiston tabiatini o’rganishga, lug’atlar, tabiiy geografiyadan darsliklar, o’quv geografik xaritalari, atlaslar yaratishga bag’ishlangan. O’quv adabiyotlarini o’zbek tiliga tarjima qilishda qatnashgan.
