Sanoatda chumoli kislotani dimetilamin bilan kondensatlash, metilformiat aminozolini dimetilamin bilan 80-120\u00b0 temperatura va 0,1 \u2014 0,4 MPa bosimda kondensatlash, metilaminni 100-150\u00b0 temperatura va 2,5\u201420 MPa bosimda CH, ONa ishtirokida metanolda karbonillash usullari bilan olinadi.
