Bunda dispers sistemaning dispereligi yoki solishtirma sirti, ya&#8217;ni fazalar orasidagi umumiy sirtni dispers faza hajmiga (yoki massasiga) nisbati ham aniqlanadi. Dispersion analiz usullarini uchta guruhga ajratish mumkin: 1) ayrim zarrachalar parametrlari (o&#8217;lchami, massasi va boshqalar) ni aniqlash hamda ularni statistik ishlab chiqish natijasida ko&#8217;p sonli o&#8217;lchashlar o&#8217;tkazish (masalan, avtomatik sistemalarni qo&#8217;llash) usuli; 2) dispers sistema zarrachalarining katta-kichikligiga ko&#8217;ra sinflarga bo&#8217;lish usullari; 3) ma&#8217;lum bir holatda joylashgan zarrachalar xossalarini aniqlashga asoslangan usullar. Birinchi guruh usullarida zarrachalarning o&#8217;lchamlari optik mikroskop (odatda 1 mkm dan bir necha mm gacha) yoki elektron mikroskop (1 nm dan bir necha mkm gacha) yordamida o&#8217;lchanadi; dispers faza zarrachalari bo&#8217;lgan ingichka naychadan o&#8217;tkazilayotgan suspenziya yorug&#8217;lik nuri yoki elektr qarshiligining o&#8217;zgarishini (Kulter hisoblagichlarida zarrachalarning o&#8217;lchamlari 0,1 dan 100 mkm gacha, optik asboblarda esa 5 dan 500 mkm gacha bo&#8217;lganda) o&#8217;lchash imkonini beradi. Dispersion analizning ikkinchi guruhi usullariga elak analizi (zarrachalar o&#8217;lchamlari 1 dan 500 mkm gacha bo&#8217;lganda) va gaz yoki suyukdiklar oqimida zarrachalarning ajratilishi (zarrachalarning o&#8217;lchamlari 0,1 dan bir necha mm gacha) kiradi. Dispersion analizning uchinchi guruhi usullariga sedimentasiey analizning barcha usullari taalluqli. Bu usullar qoldiq massasining to&#8217;planish kinetikasini qisobga olish (Figurovskiy sedimentometri zarrachalarning o&#8217;lchamlari 1 dan 500 mkm gacha bo&#8217;lganda o&#8217;lchash imkonini beradi) yoki suspenziya optik zichligining o&#8217;zgarishiga asoslangan. Dispersion analizda tsentrofugalarni qo&#8217;llash o&#8217;lchashlar chegarasini 0,1 mkm gacha pasaytirish imkonini beradi (ultratsentrofuglar yordamida o&#8217;lchamlari 1 \u2014 100 nm bo&#8217;lgan zarrachalarni o&#8217;lchash mumkin). Yorug&#8217;lik nurlarining juda kichik nurlanishi, rentgen nurlari, neytronlar va boshqalar yordamida zarrachalar o&#8217;lchamini aniqlashning turli usullaridan keng foydalaniladi. Solishtirma sirtni aniklash uchun adsorbtsion usullar (monomolekulyar qatlamdagi adsorbtsiyalangan moddaning miqdorini ham aniqlash mumkin) qo&#8217;llaniladi. Kukun holdagi moddalarning solishtirma sirti adsorbtsiya issikdigi (yoki ho&#8217;llanish) bo&#8217;yicha aniqlanadi. Dispersion analizning adsorbtsion usullari turlicha bo&#8217;lib, ular solishtirma sirt 10-103 m2\/g (zarrachalar o&#8217;lchami 10 dan 1000 nm gacha) bo&#8217;lganda aniqlash imkonini beradi.
