O\u2018zbekiston Qahramoni (2002). Filologiya fanlari nomzodi (1954), professor (1979). O\u2018rta Osiyo universitetini tugatgan (1951). ToshDUning o\u2018zbek filologiyasi fakultetida dotsent, professor (1955\u2014 95), \u00abTafakkur\u00bb jurnalida bosh muharrir o\u2018rinbosari (1996\u201497), \u00abJahon adabiyoti\u00bb jurnali bosh muharriri (1997 yildan) bo\u2018lib ishlagan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ozod Sharafiddinov 20-asrning 60-yillaridan adabiyotshunos sifatida tanilgan. \u00abZamon. Qalb. Poeziya\u00bb (1962) kitobida adabiy asarlarni badiiylik qonuniyatlari nuqtai nazaridan tadqiq etgan. Uning tadqiqotlari adabiyotni milliy g\u2018oyalar va adabiy qonuniyatlar asosida tahlil qilishga bag\u2018ishlangan. \u00abAdabiy etyudlar\u00bb (1968) kitobida ijodkor shaxsi va uning badiiy asardagi o\u2018rni masalalari talqin qilingan. \u00abYalovbardorlar\u00bb (1974), \u00abIste\u2019dod jilolari\u00bb (1976) to\u2018plamlariga kiritilgan ilmiy maqolalari adabiy ijoddagi an\u2019analar, mumtoz adabiyotni o\u2018rganish vositalari va jahon adabiyotini o\u2018rganish muammolari haqida. Ozod Sharafiddinov o\u2018zbek adabiyotshunosligi va tanqidchiligida milliy va jahon adabiyoti an\u2019analarini uyg\u2018un qabul qilish tamoyillarini boshlab berdi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ozod Sharafiddinov \u00abBirinchi mo\u2018jiza\u00bb (1979), \u00abTalant \u2014 xalq mulki\u00bb (1979), \u00abAdabiyot \u2014 hayot darsligi\u00bb (1980), \u00abHayot bilan hamnafas\u00bb (1983), \u00abGo\u2018zallik izlab\u00bb (1985) asarlarida o\u2018zbek she\u2019riyati, nasri va tanqidchiligining muqim muammolarini yoritgan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ozod Sharafiddinovning munaqqidlik faoliyatida 2 davr ko\u2018zga tashlanadi. Birinchi davr sho\u2018ro totalitar tuzumida kechgan bo\u2018lib, unda adabiyotni totalitar mafkura g\u2018oyalaridan himoya qilish, adabiy qonuniyatlar asosida tadqiqotlar olib borish muammolari tadqiq etilgan (\u00abZaharxanda qahqaha\u00bb, 1962; \u00abHayotiylik jozibasi, sxematizm inertsiyasi\u00bb, 1979; \u00abYurtin madhi bo\u2018ldi so\u2018nggi satri ham\u00bb, 1979; \u00abShe\u2019r ko\u2018p, ammo shoirchi?\u00bb, 1983).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ikkinchi davr munaqqid faoliyatida asosiy davr bo\u2018lib, u istiqlol yillaridagi ijodini qamrab oladi. Bu davrda Ozod Sharafiddinov milliy adabiyotni shakllantirish muammolari, o\u2018zbek adabiyotshunosligi va tanqidchiligini qayta qurish, jahon adabiyoti an\u2019analarini o\u2018zlashtirish hamda tarjima san\u2019atini yuksaltirish masalalarini tadqiq etgan (\u00abBir tilda gaplashaylik\u00bb, 1987; \u00abMag\u2018zi puch so\u2018zlardan bir tosh nari qoch\u00bb, 2000; \u00abQaydasan, Moriko\u00bb, 2002).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ozod Sharafiddinov o\u2018zbek adabiyotini jahon adabiyoti bilan uyg\u2018un tarzda o\u2018rganish an\u2019anasini boshlab bergan. Ozod Sharafiddinovning \u00abIstiqlol fidoyilari\u00bb (1993), \u00abSardaftar sarlavhalari\u00bb (1999), \u00abMa\u2019naviy kamolot yo\u2018llarida\u00bb (2001) kitoblarida Abdurauf Fitrat, Abdulhamid Cho\u2018lpon, Usmon Nosir, Abdulla Qahhor, Oybek, G\u2018afur G\u2018ulom, Maqsud Shayxzoda, Otajon Hoshimov ijodi yangicha nuqtai nazardan tahlil etilgan. \u00abCho\u2018lponni anglash\u00bb (1993) asarida esa yangi o\u2018zbek tanqidchiligi 20-asrda bosib o\u2018tgan murakkab yo\u2018lni talqin, tahlil qilgan, ko\u2018plab munaqqidlar ijodi, estetik printsipini Cho\u2018lpon ijodiga munosabat nuktai nazaridan yoritgan. Ozod Sharafiddinov \u00ab20-asr o\u2018zbek adabiyoti tarixi\u00bb o\u2018quv dasturi (1997), \u00ab20-asr o\u2018zbek adabiyoti\u00bb (1999) darsligi mualliflaridan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ozod Sharafiddinov ijodining cho\u2018qqisi \u00abIjodni anglash baxti\u00bb (2004) kitobidir. Unda o\u2018zbek adabiyotining jahon adabiy jarayonida tutgan o\u2018rni va ilmiy-ma\u2019naviy o\u2018zanlari tadqiq etib berilgan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ozod Sharafiddinov tarjima san\u2019atiga tanqidchilik kontseptsiyasini olib kirdi. L.
