Uyg&#8217;onish davri dramalarida (V.Shekspir, B.Jonson), odatda, Epilog tomoshabinlarga murojaatmonolog bo&#8217;lib, bunda pesaning asosiy g\u2019oyasi sharhlangan. Epilog asardagi asosiy ziddiyat echimining oqibatlarini ifodalashga, asarning g&#8217;oyaviy samarasini bayon qilishga xizmat etadi. Abdulla Qodiriyning &#8220;O&#8217;tgan kunlar&#8221; romanidagi xotima Epilogning yorqin namunasidir. Ushbu Epilog orqali o&#8217;quvchilar asar bosh qahramoni Otabekning keyingi taqdiri haqida xabar topadilar. Har bir asarda Epilog bo&#8217;lishi shart emas. Ba&#8217;zan Epilog asarning bosh qismiga ko&#8217;chirilishi ham mumkin.
