Fanga 1846 yilda ingliz arxeologi U.J.Toms olib kirgan. 1880-90 yillarda &#8220;Folklor&#8221; termini ko&#8217;plab mamlakatlarda, jumladan, Rossiyada ham qo&#8217;llana boshlagan.
