Fenolyatlar suv, fenol va ishqoriyer metallar gidroksidlari bilan adduktlar hosil qiladi. Ko&#8217;p valentli metallarning Fenolyatlari kimyoviy xossalariga ko&#8217;ra tegishli alkogolyatorlarga juda yaqin turadi. Ko&#8217;p atomli fenollarning Fenolyatlari yoki nitro, amino va boshqa aralash funktsiyali fenollarning Fenolyatlari ichki kompleks birikmalardir. Fenolyatlar fenollarga gidroksidlar (reaktsiya suvli eritmada olib boriladi) yoki metall galogenidlar, alkogolyatlar, karboksilatlar, sulfidlar ta&#8217;sir ettirish yo&#8217;li bilan olinadi (suvsiz muhitda).
