Turmushda Akustik shovqin nutq va musiqani to&#8217;g&#8217;ri eshitishga xalaqit beruvchi turli tovushlar shaklida uchraydi. Tutash spektrli shovqin &#8220;Qq shovqin&#8221; deyiladi. Akustik shovqinni nazariy o&#8217;rganishda ehtimollik nazariyasiga asoslangan statistik fizika qonunlaridan foydalaniladi. Akustik shovqinni o&#8217;rganishdan asosiy maqsad uning manbalarini aniqlab, odam organizmiga hamda ba&#8217;zi bir tizimlarga ko&#8217;rsatadigan salbiy ta&#8217;sirini kamaytirishdan iborat.
