Akustoelektronika radiosignallarni o&#8217;zgartirish va ularga ishlov berish uchun ut (ultratovush) qurilmalarini yaratish printsiplarini tadqiq qilish bilan shug&#8217;ullanadi. O&#8217;YUT (o&#8217;ta yuqori takroriylik) li signalni to&#8217;lqin uzunligi 105 marta kichik bo&#8217;lgan tovush signaliga aylantirish unga ishlov berishni ancha yengillashtiradi. Signallar ustida amallarni bajarish uchun utning o&#8217;tkazuvchanlik elektronlari, elektromagnitik maydonlar, optik nurlanishlar, shuningdek, akustik to&#8217;lqinlarning nochiziqli o&#8217;zaro ta&#8217;sirlaridan foydalaniladi. Ko&#8217;pchilik hollarda radioelektron usullar ushbu amallarni ancha soda va tejamli yo&#8217;llar b-n amalga oshirish imkonini beradi&nbsp; Ishlash zaminida yotuvchi fizik printsiplar va vazifalariga ko&#8217;ra, akustoelektron qurilmalar signallar chiziqli o&#8217;zgartiriladigan (tutib qolish liniyalari, filtrlar va b.) sust chiziqli qurilmalarga, faol chiziqli qurilmalarga (signal kuchaytirgichlari va generatorlari) hamda signalning generasiyasi, modulyasiyasi, o&#8217;zaro ko&#8217;paytirilishi va b. o&#8217;zgarishlari sodir bo&#8217;ladigan nochiziqli qurilmalarga bo&#8217;linadi.
