U o\u2018zbek dramaturgiyasiga poydevor qo\u2018ygan dastlabki ijodkorlardan biri, shoir, yozuvchi, tarjimon va rejissyordir. Ana shu ko\u2018p qirrali va samarali ijodiy faoliyati uchun 1990 yilda unga \u00abO\u2018zbekistonda xizmat ko\u2018rsatgan san\u2019at arbobi\u00bb degan yuksak unvon berilgan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Xurshid (Shamsiddin Sharafiddinov) 1892 yilning 20 iyunida Toshkentda bog\u2018bon oilasida tavallud topgan. Madrasa va eski maktabda tahsil olgan. U asrimiz boshlaridan, aniqrog\u2018i, 1905\u20141906 yillardan boshlab jadid adabiyotining navqiron namoyandalaridan biri sifatida qalam tebrata boshlagan. Shu ma\u2019noda u ma\u2019rifatparvarlik ruhida \u00abEskilik va yangilik\u00bb degan dastlabki pesasini, keyinroq \u00abOrif va Ma\u2019ruf\u00bb, \u00abQora xotin\u00bb, \u00abKichik askar\u00bb kabi pesalarini, \u00abLayli va Majnun\u00bb, \u00abFarhod va Shirin\u00bb, \u00abSiyovush\u00bb, \u00abOybonu\u00bb singari musiqiy dramalarini yaratgan. Ayniqsa, uning Alisher Navoiy dostonlari asosida yaratgan har ikki dramasi o\u2018z davrida juda mashhur bo\u2018lgan. Xurshid qator operalar librettolarini ham yozgan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Xurshidning dastlabki she\u2019rlari 1914 yilda \u00abTurkiston viloyatining gazeti\u00bb, \u00abSadoi Turkiston\u00bb gazetalari, \u00abTarjimon\u00bb, \u00abOyna\u00bb jurnallari va \u00abTuhfai Xislat\u00bb bayozida (1914) \u00abXoib\u00bb taxallusi bilan e\u2019lon qilingan. O\u2018z she\u2019rlarini jamlab, \u00abDevoni Shohidiy\u00bb nomi bilan devon ham tuzgan (1912). Shoir keyinchalik \u00abMushtum\u00bb jurnalida bosilgan hajviy she\u2019rlarida \u00abO\u2018jar\u00bb, \u00abTajang\u00bb, \u00abChayon\u00bb kabi taxalluslardan foydalangan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Xurshid tarjimon sifatida ham samarali ijod etgan. Xususan, Shillerning \u00abQaroqchilar\u00bb, V. Shekspirning \u00abQora arab\u00bb, \u00abOtello\u00bb, U. Hojibekovning \u00abArshin mol-olan\u00bb kabi mashhur asarlarini o\u2018zbek tiliga ag\u2018dargan. Shuningdek, Sharqning buyuk shoirlaridan biri Hofiz Sheroziyning yuzga yaqin g\u2018azallarini ona tiliga tarjima etgan. Bundan tashqari u o\u2018zbek mumtoz adabiyotining yorqin namoyandalari Munis va Ogahiy kabi shoirlar devonlarini arab grafikasidan hozirgi o\u2018zbek (kirill) yozuviga o\u2018tkazib, nashrga tayyorlagan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Xurshid yetuk g\u2018azalnavis shoirdir. Uning \u00abChorgoh\u00bb, \u00abGiryon\u00bb, \u00abBayot\u00bb, \u00abUshshoq\u00bb, \u00abSegoh\u00bb, \u00abDugoh\u00bb, \u00abSuvora\u00bb kabi kuylarga solingan ohangrabo she\u2019rlari mashhur hofizlar tomonidan hamon ixlos bilan aytib kelinmokda. Mohir g\u2018azalnavis shoir, yetuk dramaturg va tarjimon Xurshidning ijodiy merosi ancha boy, serqirra va sermazmun bo\u2018lib, u hozir O\u2018zbekiston Fanlar akademiyasi H.
