Mehnat Qahramoni (1932), O&#8217;zbekiston xalq artisti (1937). Marg&#8217;ilonda Masaid otadan doira chalishni o&#8217;rgangan. Dastlab Margilon yallachilari, sozandalarga jo&#8217;rnavozlik qilib, to&#8217;y, sayil, keyinchalik choyxonalarda xizmat qilgan. O&#8217;zbek davlat kontsert-etnografik truppasi (1929 yildan O&#8217;zbek davlat musiqali teatri, 1939 yildan O&#8217;zbek davlat opera va balet teatri) da doirachi; raqs studiyasida dars bergan (1926-43). Usta Olim o&#8217;zbek raqs san&#8217;ati rivojiga katta hissa qo&#8217;shgan. U to&#8217;plagan va o&#8217;zi yaratgan o&#8217;zbek raqsi usullari raqqosalar uchun asosiy qo&#8217;llanma bo&#8217;lib qoldi. Usta Olim Tamaraxonim va M. Turg&#8217;unboyeva kabi raqqosalar ustozidir. Tamaraxonim bilan ijodiy hamkorlikda qadimgi o&#8217;zbek raqslarini sahnalashtirgan, ularning ayrimlarini raqqosalar ansambli ijrosiga moslashtirgan (&#8220;zang&#8221;, &#8220;gul o&#8217;yin&#8221;, &#8220;Sadr&#8221;, &#8220;daromadi gul o&#8217;yin&#8221; va hokazolar), yangi &#8220;pilla&#8221;, M. Turg&#8217;unboyeva bilan &#8220;Paxta&#8221;, o&#8217;zi &#8220;tantana&#8221; raqslarini yaratgan. &#8220;Farhod va Shirin&#8221; (Xurshid pyesasi; V. Uspenskiy, G. Mushel musiqasi), &#8220;Gulsara&#8221; (K. Yashin, M. Muhamedov; R. Glier) spektakllariga raqslar sahnalashtirgan, &#8220;paxta&#8221; (N. Roslaves, 1933), &#8220;Shohida&#8221; (F. Tal, 1939) baletlarini sahnalashtirishda qatnashgan. Usta Olim ijrosidagi xalq doira usullarining ko\u2019pi Il. Akbarov (&#8220;Doira usullari&#8221;, T., 1952), V. Uspenskiy, E. Romanovskayalar tomonidan yozib olingan. Usta Olimning ijro uslubi zarblar jilvadorligi qamda tembr vositalarining xilmaxilligi bilan ajralib turadi. T. Inog&#8217;omov, K. Azimov, A. To&#8217;ychiev va boshqa doirachilarga ustozlik qilgan. Moskvada o&#8217;tkazilgan milliy teatrlar olimpiadasi (1930), o&#8217;zbek san&#8217;ati dekadasi (1937) qatnashchisi (dekadada ijro etilgan &#8220;sayil va kolxoz to&#8217;yi&#8221; instsenirovkasining yaratuvchilaridan). Usta Olim doiraning boy ifoda imkoniyatlarini chet mamlakatlarda ham namoyish qilgan. Tamaraxonim va boshqalar bilan birinchi xalqaro raqs festivalida g&#8217;oliblikka erishgan (London, 1935) va uning kaftlaridan olingan gips nusxa Angliya muzeyida saqlanadi. Farg&#8217;onadagi 1-musiqa maktabi, Toshkent va Marg&#8217;ilondagi ko&#8217;chalardan biriga Usta Olim nomi berilgan.
