Odam umurtqa pog&#8217;onasining 3 xil: skolioz (yonga), lordoz (oldinga) va kifoz (orqaga) qiyshayishi farq qilinadi. Katta yoshdagi kishilarning umurtqa pog&#8217;onasida old va orqa tomonga qaragan kichikroq bukilma bo&#8217;ladi. Bu bukilma yoshlikdan astasekin ayniqsa bola tik turishga va yurishga o&#8217;rgana boshlaganida vujudga keladi. Bu kasallik bo&#8217;lmay, balki fiziologik holat hisoblanadi. Bunga ko&#8217;pincha chanoq suyagining son suyagi bilan tutashgan bo&#8217;g&#8217;imining tug&#8217;ma chiqishi sabab bo&#8217;ladi.
