Tajribada oddiy kontsentrasiyali, lekin hajmi p (10&#8243;3-106) ml dan ko&#8217;p bo&#8217;lmagan eritmalardagi p (106-1012) g miqdor modda aniqlanadi. Ultramikrokimyoviy analiz mikrokimyoviy analiz yo&#8217;li bilan aniqlab bo&#8217;lmaydigan oz miqdordagi moddalarni aniqlash imkonini beradi. Ultramikrokimyoviy analiz usullari odsiy usullarda aniklash reaktsiyalari kabi reaktsiyalarga asoslangan. Tajribada mexanik manipulyatordan foydalaniladi. Tekshirishlar lupa (hajmi 10 3 ml) yoki mikroskop (hajmi 10~3 ml dan kichik) yordamida olib boriladi. Barcha operatsiyalar mikromanipulyatorlardan foydalanib mikroskop buyum stolchasining ko&#8217;rish maydonchasida o&#8217;tkaziladi. Oz miqdordagi namunalarni analizga tayyorlash usullari o&#8217;ziga xos bo&#8217;lib, namunaning turi va tabiatiga bog&#8217;liq.
