Rotorning Valiga mahkamlangan tishli g&#8217;ildirakning ichki tishlari qo&#8217;zg&#8217;almas shesternya bilan ilashgan. Rotor tishli g&#8217;ildirak bilan birgalikda shesternya atrofida dumalaydi. Shunda rotorning yoklari tsilindrning ichki epitroxoidasimon sirti bo&#8217;ylab sirpanib, hajmi o&#8217;zgaruvchi kameralar hosil qiladi. Jumladan, uch yoqli porshen tsilindr ichida qisish va kengayish (ish takti) kameralarini hosil qiladi.
