Ishi o&#8217;ta to&#8217;yingan bug&#8217;ning kondensasiyalanishiga, boshqacha aytganda tez zaryadlangan zarralarning izi bo&#8217;ylab hosil bo&#8217;ladigan ionlarda mayda suyuqlik tomchilari hosil bo&#8217;lishiga asoslangan. Stereoskopik tasvirni hosil qilish uchun zarralar izlari bir necha fotoapparatlar yordamida fotosuratga olinadi. Kamera hajmi tez kengayganda temperatura keskin pasayadi, shu tufayli bug&#8217;o&#8217;ta to&#8217;yinadi. Ch. Vilson ixtiro qilgan (1912).
