Shishasimon yaltiroq, sof kristallari rangeiz. Qattiqligi 4-7; zichligi 3000 kg\/m3. Mo&#8217;rt. O&#8217;ta asosli tog&#8217; jinslarining nurashidan va metamorfizm jarayonida talk bilan birga hosil bo&#8217;ladi. Breynerit \u2014 listvenitlarning tipik minerali. Cho&#8217;kindi Magnezit ko&#8217;l va lagunalarda dolomit va dolomitlashgan ohaktoshlar bilan birgalikda yotadi. Kristallangan Magnezitning katta uyumlari Avstriya, Janubiy Ural, Uzoq, Sharq, Braziliya, Xitoy, Koreya va boshqa joylardan topilgan. Magnezitni sun&#8217;iy ravishda ham oladilar.
