Mavrigi Buxoro amirligi davrida Marvdan ko&#8217;chib kelgan eroniylarning musiqa ijodi sifatida shakllanib, keyinchalik boshqa (tojik, o&#8217;zbek) Millatlar orasida ham ommaviylashib ketgan. Turkum shaklida ijro etiladigan qo&#8217;shiq va kuylardan iborat. 1-qismi (&#171;Shaad&#187;)da yakkaxon nasihatomuz baytlarni rechitativ uslubida, doiraning &#171;rezi&#187; jo&#8217;rligida ijro etadi. So&#8217;ngra asta tezlashib boruvchi \u2014 yakkaxon bilan birgalikda &#171;jo&#8217;ra&#187; (Naqarot aytuvchi)lar ijro etayotgan bir necha lirik (sevgi-muhabbat mavzuidagi) hamda raqsbop qo&#8217;shiq (&#171;sarxona&#187;, &#171;Chorzarb&#187;, &#171;Makaylik&#187; va boshqalar), cholg&#8217;u kuy (&#171;Garduni sarxona&#187; va boshqalar), doira zang usullari va raqslar keladi. Mavrigi turkumi avj doirasida eng sho&#8217;x raqs (&#171;chilligi&#187;) bilan yakunlanadi. Mavrigi ijrochilaridan badiha va raqsga moyillik talab etiladi. 19-20-asrlarda Mavrigi ijrochilaridan baqo Sa&#8217;dullaev, Habib Ne&#8217;matov, Alirizo Qurbonov va boshqalar mashhur bo&#8217;ldi.
