Yapon gravyurasida manzara janri asoschisi. Kasukava Syunso va boshqa ustalardan ta&#8217;lim olgan (1777-78). Xitoyning Min davri, Kano maktabi rassomligini o&#8217;rgangan, &#171;go&#8217;zallar&#187;, &#171;odamlar&#187;, manzara janrlarida ijod qilgan. 30 mingga yaqin gravyura va rasmlar yaratgan (15 jildli &#171;Manga&#187; kitobida, 1812-71). Yirik asarlarida dadil perspektiv samaralar taassuroti kutilmagan ranglar uyg&#8217;unligi orqali yapon manzaralarini o&#8217;ziga xos obrazini yarata olgan: &#171;Fudzi tog&#8217;ining 36 ko&#8217;rinishi&#187; turkumi (1823-29), &#171;Turli viloyatlardagi yangi ko&#8217;priklar&#187; (1827-30), &#171;turli viloyatlar sharsharalari bo&#8217;ylab sayohat&#187; (1827-33), &#171;Fudzi tog&#8217;ining 100 ko&#8217;rinishi&#187; (183435) va boshqalar.
