Radioteleskop antenna va kabul qiluvchi qurilmaradiometrdan tuzilgan. Radioastronomiyada foydalaniladigan to&#8217;lqin uzunliklari diapazoni juda keng (0,1 millimetrdan 1000 metrgacha) bo&#8217;lgani tufayli Radioteleskop antennalarining tuzilishi ham turli-tuman bo&#8217;ladi. Antennalar osmonning kuzatiladigan sohasiga yo&#8217;naltirilishi uchun azimut bo&#8217;ylab buriladigan (to&#8217;la buriluvchi antennalar), qisman buriladigan yoki qo&#8217;zg&#8217;almas (juda katta) qilib o&#8217;rnatilishi mumkin. Qisqa to&#8217;lqinli nurlanishlarda parabolik ko&#8217;zgu antennalar yoki ularning bir nechtasidan iborat tizimlar (panjaralar) dan foydalaniladi.
