O&#8217;zbekiston xalq artisti (1959). Moskva o&#8217;zbek opera studiyasi (1941) va Toshkent konservatoriyasi (1961)ni tugatgan. Milliy ijro uslublarini o&#8217;zlashtirishda Hojiabdulaziz, To&#8217;ychi hofizlar ta&#8217;sir ko&#8217;rsatgan. Samarqand teatrida xormeyster va artist (1941-44), 1944 yildan Navoiy teatrining yakkaxoni, 1959 yildan Toshkent konservatoriyasida pedagog, professor (1979), 1972-77 yillar xonandalik kafedrasi mudiri. O&#8217;zbek operalarida bo&#8217;ron (S.Vasilenko, M.Ashrafiy, &#171;Bo&#8217;ron&#187;), Ibrohim (T.Sodiqov, R.Glier, &#171;Gulsara&#187;), Nu&#8217;mon (M.Ashrafiy, &#171;Dilorom&#187;), chet el klassik operalarida Eskamilo (J.Bize, &#171;Karmen&#187;), Onegin, Eleskiy (P.Chaykovskiy, &#171;Yevgeniy Onegin&#187;, &#171;Qarg&#8217;a motkasi&#187;), Figaro (J.Rossini, &#171;Sevilya sartaroshi&#187;) kabi bosh rollarni ijro etgan.
