Ivanovo kimyo-texnologiya institutini tugatgan (1935). Donbassdagi Gorlovka o&#8217;g&#8217;it zavodida ishlagan (1940). Chirchiq elektr kimyo kombinatida bosh muhandis (1940\u2014 43), Chirchiq shahar partiya qo&#8217;mitasi kotibi (1943-44), O&#8217;zbekiston Respublikasi Davlat plan komissiyasi raisining birinchi o&#8217;rinbosari (1944\u2014 47), Respublika Ministrlar Soveti boshqarmasi boshlig&#8217;i (1948), Chirchiq elektr kimyo kombinati bosh muhandisi (1948-51). O&#8217;zbekistan Fanlar Akademiyasi kimyo institutida laboratoriya (bo&#8217;lim) mudiri (1951-86), bosh ilmiy xodim (1986 yildan), O&#8217;zbekiston Fanlar Akademiyasi kimyo-texnologiya fanlari bo&#8217;limi akademik-kotibi (1952\u2014 56, 1966\u2014 86). Asosiy ilmiy ishlari yangi mineral o&#8217;g&#8217;itlar turlarini olish, o&#8217;g&#8217;itlar sifatini yaxshilash, murakkab o&#8217;g&#8217;itlardan rasional foydalanishga oid. Nabiyevning qovushoqlanib (yopishib) qolmaydigan ammiak selitrasi olish usuli Chirchiq elektr kimyo kombinatida va boshqa korxonalarda amaliyotda qo&#8217;llandi. Nabiyev o&#8217;z shogirdlari bilan birgalikda ammoniylashtirilgan superfosfat olish usulini ishlab chiqdi va uni Qo&#8217;qon, Jambul, Samarqand hamda Chorjo&#8217;y kimyo zavodlarida amalga oshirdi. Fosfat xom ashyosini nitrat kislota bilan parchalab, qattiq va suyuq, murakkab o&#8217;g&#8217;itlar (sum-I, sum-P, Sum-P1, sum-IV, sum-V) ni ishlab chiqarish texnologiyasiga asos soldi, chigit tarkibidagi moy moddalarini ko&#8217;paytirishga ta&#8217;sir etuvchi &#171;TSAKS&#187; defoliantini ixtiro qildi.
