Mazachcho ijodida gotika an&#8217;analarini qat&#8217;iy yengib, diniy lavhalarda inson shaxsi haqidagi insonparvarlik tushunchalarini aks ettirgan. 1422 yildan Florentsiyada yashagan, Piza va Rimda ham ishlagan. Ilk asarlari (&#171;Madonna avliyo Anna bilan&#187;, taxminan 1424; Pizadagi Santa-Mariya del Karmine cherkovi uchun poliptix, 1426 va boshqalar)dayoq xarakatchan nursoya, umumlashma shaklning mahobatliligiga intilishi, shaklning uch o&#8217;lchamliligini o&#8217;ta his qilishi bilan diqqatga sazovor (Florentsiyadagi Santa-Mariya del Karmine cherkovidagi kapella bezaklari, 1425-28 va boshqalar).
