O&#8217;zbekistonda xizmat ko&#8217;rsatgan san&#8217;at arbobi (1950). Moskva konservatoriyasini tugatgach (1936), Toshkent konservatoriyasida (1937 yildan), Hamza nomidagi musiqa bilim yurtida (1941 \u2014 45) o&#8217;qituvchi. O&#8217;zbekistonda professional kompozitorlik ta&#8217;limi rivojiga, musiqa maktablari pedagogik (fortepiano) repertuari shakllanishiga katta hissa qo&#8217;shgan. Ijodida o&#8217;zbek xalq kuylariga keng tayangan va ijobiy qo&#8217;llagan. Bastakorlar T. Jalilov bilan hamkorlikda &#171;Asrlar&#187; (1943) va &#171;Alpomish (1949), Yu. Rajabiy bilan &#171;Farhod va Shirin&#187; (1944) musiqali dramalarini yaratgan. Shuningdek, simfonik orkestr uchun &#171;Simfonietta&#187;, &#171;Segoh&#187;, &#171;paxta&#187; (Yu. Rajabiy bilan), &#171;Bolalarga&#187;, &#171;Vals&#187;, ovoz va cholg&#8217;ular orkestri uchun &#171;Abdurahmonbegi&#187;, &#171;Ey, Vatan&#187;; bolalar uchun fortepiano pyesalari va qo&#8217;shiqlar yaratdi.
