Neon lampa 2 elektrod (anod va qiedirilmaydigan, shisha ballonga kavsharlangan katod)dan iborat bo&#8217;lib, ballon ichiga neon (Ne) yoki neon gazining geliy yoki argon gazlari bilan aralashmasi to\u2019ldiriladi. Bu turda Neon lampada gaz bosimi 25 -40 gPa ga yaqin bo&#8217;ladi. Odatda, argon gazi razryadi yondiruvchi kuchlanishni kamaytirish uchun kiritiladi.
