SamDU ni tugatgan (1965), SamDu va Birlashgan yadro tadqiqotlari instituti (Dubna shahri) da ilmiy xodim (1965\u2014 79). Toshduda laboratoriya mudiri (1979-81), Amaliy fizika ilmiy tadqiqot instituti direktori (1981 \u2014 87; 1995 yildan), SamDU rektori (1992\u2014 95). Ilmiy ishlari fundamental va amaliy yadro fizikasiga oid. Uning bevosita rahbarligida eksperemental yadro fizikasi uchun bir necha noyob ilmiy qurilmalar (SB\u201450 betatroni, MT\u2014 22S mikrotroni, eg\u20142 ionlar tezlatkichi, IBM kuchli ion dastasi injektori va boshqalar) yaratildi. Yaratilgan qurilmalar yordamida atom yadrosining xossalari, tezlashtirilgan elektronlar dastasining gaz muhitidan o&#8217;tishi, yuqori energiyali gamma-kvantlar dastasining o&#8217;ta kichik burchaklarga sochilishi va radioekologiyaga oid izlanishlar o&#8217;tkazdi.
