M.g.da kogerent tebranishlarning generasiyalanishi yuz berishi uchun ushbu 2 shart bajarilishi lozim: asbobning ish xajmida dastlabki xrlatidagi zar- ralar soni ichki energiyasi kichikroq bo&#8217;lgan holatdagi zarralar orasidagi bog&#8217;liklik (musbat teskari aloka) ta&#8217;- minlanishi lozim. M.g.da birinchi shart molekulalar da-stasini elektrostatik usulda saralash yo&#8217;li b-n, ikkinchi shart (teskari aloqa) tebranishning tarqalish chastotasiga sozlangan xajmiy rezona- tor yordamida amalga oshiriladi. Mole- kulalar dastasi molekulalar manbadan vakuumga tor tirqishlar yoki kapillyar orqali chiqayotganda shakllanadi. M.g.ni rus olimlaridan N. G. Basov, A. M. Pro- Xorov va ulardan mustaqil ravishda Ame- rikalik olimlar u. Tauns, J. Gordon, X. Tseyger 1954 y.da ixtiro qilgan. Bu kurilma ammiak (NH3) molekulalarida ishlab, yuqori monoxromatik va turg&#8217;un (24840 MGs) chastotatali, mikroto&#8217;lqin diapazonli (1=1,24 sm) elektromagnit tebranishlarni hosil qiladi. M.g.dagi ammiak molekulalari dastasining quvvati 10~8 Vt, turg&#8217;unlik chastotasi esa 10 7\u2014 10~&#187; bo&#8217;ladi. Keyinchalik sm va mm li to&#8217;lqinlar diapazonida ishlaydigan M. g.lar va 21 sm li to&#8217;lqin uzunligida ishlaydigan (vodorod atomlari dastasidan foydala- niladigan) kvant generatorlari yaratil- Di. Bu asboblar kvant kuchaytirgichlar kabi, mazer deb xam ataladi. Molekulyar gazlar b-n ishlaydigan optik diapazonli kvant generatorlarni (q.
