Bunga sabab \u2014 elektronlar yoki atom yadrolarining magnit momentlari o&#8217;z yo&#8217;nalishini o&#8217;zgartiradi. Moddalarning turi va xususiyatlariga kura, M. r. hodisasi, asosan, 4 ga bo&#8217;linadi: yadroviy M. r. (to&#8217;lqinlar amplitudasining kuchli kattalashishi), elektron paramagnit rezonans, ferromagnit rezonans va antiferromagnit rezonans; a) yadroviy M. r.da elektromagnit to&#8217;lqinlarning yutilishi (nisbatan juda kuchsiz yutilishi) radiochastotali magnit maydoni ta&#8217;siridagi kuchli o&#8217;zgarmas magnit maydonida kuzatiladi. Atom yadrosi magnit &#171;tashuvchi&#187; bo&#8217;lib xizmat qiladi va xossalari ko&#8217;rilayotgan hodisaning rezonansligini belgilaydi; b) radiochastotali elektromagnit maydon energiyasining paramagnit moddalarda tashqi magnit maydon ta&#8217;sirida rezonans yutilishi elektron paramagnet rezonansdir; v) turli chastotali ikki o&#8217;zgaruvchi elektromagnit maydonning modsaga bir vaqtda rezonans ta&#8217;sirida juft rezonans hodisasi ro&#8217;y beradi. Paramagnit kvant kuchaytirgichlarning ishi shu hodisaga asoslangan, ferromagnit rezonans ferromagnitlardagi electron M.r. deb ham ataladi. Ferromagnit modda o&#8217;ziga xos magnitlanish xususiyatiga ega, ya&#8217;ni ferromagnitda tashki magnit maydon yo&#8217;q holda ham ichki magnit maydon bo&#8217;ladi. Ferromagnit modda elektronlari o&#8217;rtasidagi ta&#8217;sir kuchlari shunchalik katta bo&#8217;ladiki, hatto issiklik harakati natijasida elek-tronlar spinining harakat yo&#8217;nalishi ham o&#8217;zgarmaydi. Bu hodisaga, asosan, o&#8217;ta yuksak chastotali asboblar (ferrit generatorlari va kuchaytirgichlari) yasaladi; g) antiferromagnit rezonans elektromagnit energiyaning antiferromagnitda rezonans yutilishidir.
