Afsona Eronning sosoniy hukmdori Chyaraxran V (420\u2014 438 hukmronligi) nomi b-n bog&#8217;liq (Varaxran \u2014 dariycha Bahrom). U go&#8217;r\u2014 qulon oviga o&#8217;chligi uchun Bahrom go&#8217;r nomi b-n mashhur. Af- sonani yozma adabiyotga, dastlab Firdav- siy olib kirgan. So&#8217;ng Nizomiy, Xisrav Dexlaviy va b. shu mavzuda asarlar yoz- ganlar. Navoiy bu tajribalarni umum- lashtirib, mukammal original Doston yaratgan. Doston Sharqsa &#171;Bahrom va Gu- landom&#187;, &#171;Bahromnoma&#187;, &#171;Haft manzari Bahrom&#187; nomlari b-n Shuhrat qozongan. &#171;S.s.&#187;an&#8217;anaga ko&#8217;ra, hamd, Munojot va na&#8217;t b-n boshlangan, so&#8217;ng voqealar bayon etilgan. Mundarijasi &#171;Xamsa&#187;dagi boshqa dostonlardan farq qiladi; hikoya ichida hikoya usulida yozilgan. Bahrom va Dilorom voqeasi asarda qoliplovchi hikoya bo&#8217;lib, uning ichida yana 7 hikoya keltirilgan. Ular asarning umumiy yo&#8217;nalishi b-n chambarchas bog&#8217;lanib, yaxlit bir badiiy asarning uzviy qismlarini tashkil etadi. Ayni vaqtda hikoyaning har biri mustaqil hisoblanadi va mavzu- lar davrning, xalq turmushining muhim tomonlarini qamrab oladi; xalq hayoti, tinchlik va osoyishtalik, adolat va va- tanparvarlik, sevgi va ma&#8217;rifat g&#8217;oyalari ilgari suriladi, munofiklik va zolim- lik qoralanadi. Bahrom \u2014 7 iqlim shohi. Ovda uni izlab kelayotgan Moniyni uchratadi. Mo- niy xitoylik go&#8217;zal Dilorom haqida xa- bar beradi, o&#8217;zi chizgan qizning suratini ko&#8217;rsatadi. Shoh suratni ko&#8217;rib telbalar- cha oshiq bo&#8217;ladi. Xitoyning 1 yillik XI &#8212; rojini to&#8217;lab, qizni saroyga keltiradi. Shoh qizga butunlay Mahliyo bo&#8217;lib, mam- lakat ishlarini unutadi. Mastlik b-n sevgilisidan ham ajraladi, so&#8217;ng uzlat- ga beriladi. Undagi savdoyilikni daf etmoq uchun 7 iqlim shohi 7 rangdagi 7 qasr qurdiradi. Baxrom ularning har bi- rida har kuni 1 musofirdan hikoya tin- glaydi, tuzala boshlaydi. Nihoyat 7-kun oq qasrda Diloromning daragini eshita- Di va uni topadi. Yana ovga, ayshishratga beriladi va navbatdagi ov paytida butun arkoni davlati b-n er yutadi. Navoiy Bahrom obraziga juda katta ma&#8217;no-mazmun yuklagan. Uning timso- lida oshiqlik va shohlikning bir tanga sig&#8217;masligini ko&#8217;rsatgan. Navoiy asar voqealarini Xurosonu Movarounnaxr hayoti b-n bog&#8217;lashga harakat qilib, qissaga turkona ruh bergan. &#171;S.s.&#187;voqealari, qahramonlarining xatti-harakatlari yuksak badiiy mahorat b-n tasvirlangan. Navoiydan so&#8217;ng og&#8217;zaki va yozma adabiyotda &#171;S.s.&#187;ning bir necha variantlari yaratil- Di [ Sayqaliy &#171;Bahrom va Gulandom&#187;, N.
