Surrealism \u2014 o&#8217;ta realizm) \u2014 20a,ning 10\u201420y.la- rida frantsuz adabiyotida paydo bo&#8217;lib, tasviriy san&#8217;at, haykaltaroshlik, te- ATR, kino sog&#8217;alariga, keyinchalik boshqa mamlakatlar (Belgiya, Chexoslovakiya, Yugoslaviya, AQSh, Meksika, Yaponiya)ga ham tarqalgan avangardlik yo&#8217;nalishi. Markiz de Sad, J. Nerval, shuningdek, A. Rembo, Lotreamondan A. Jarri, G. Apolliner va S. Reverdiga qadar bo&#8217;lgan yozuvchilar ijodi S.ning paydo bo&#8217;lishida manba vazifasini o&#8217;tagan. S. vakilla- ri aqliy faoliyatdagi, hatto jamiyat xayotidagi shakllangan tizimni tubdan o&#8217;zgartirish da&#8217;vosi bilan chiqqanlar. S.ning yangi adabiy yo&#8217;nalish sifatida maydonga kelishida &#171;Litterature&#187; (&#171;Ada- biyot&#187;, 1919 -24) jurnali muhim rol o&#8217;ynadi. Bu jurnali atrofida Birlashgan L.Aragon,L. Breton, F. SUPO kabi yozuv- chilar S.ga asos soldilar. Ko&#8217;p o&#8217;tmay, ular davrasiga P. Elyuar, R. Desnos, A. Arto va b. kelib qo&#8217;shilishdi. S. miyaga ilk bor kelib qolgan so&#8217;z, nutq parchalari, turlituman xayollarning dastlabki, kutilmagan bir holatdagi ajabtovur shaklini har qanday ijo- diy faoliyatning xamirturushi, asosi, deb e&#8217;lon qilgan. Syurrealistik teatr (asoschisi A. Arto) va kinematografiyada qam ayrim sahna va kadrlarning birbi- ri bilan mantiqsiz bog&#8217;lanishi va umu- man aqlzakovat doirasidan chetga chiqish &#171;haqiqiy reallik&#187; sifatida tan olin- gan. Dastlab syurrealistlarning turfa to&#8217;garagiga S.ning isyonkorlik ruxiga uch- gan, tevarakatrofdagi dunyo tartibotini xush ko&#8217;rmagan, insonning jamiyatdagi xdyotida uchrab turadigan kiyinchili- klarni o&#8217;rganish va bartaraf etish xayoli bilan yashagan yirik yozuvchilar xam a&#8217;zo bo&#8217;lishgan. S.ning ijtimoiy tizimni kayta qurish xaqidagi niyati afsonavor uydirma ekanligini tushungan, S. este- tikasidagi badiiy asarga xos ma&#8217;nodor- lik va yaxlitlikning bekor qilinganini ko&#8217;rgan katta iste&#8217;dod egalari syurrea- listlar safini tark etganlar. 30y.lar- ning oxiriga kelib, mistikaga oshkora ravishda berilgan A. Breton boshchili- gidagi ayrim shoirlargina S.ga sodiq bo&#8217;lib qoldilar va ular safi taklid- chilar hisobiga kengaydi. 40y.larning boshlarida A. Breton, S.Dali, I. Tangi va b.ning muhojirlikka ketishi bilan S.ning markazi AQShga ko&#8217;chdi. Frantsi- yada S.ni qayta tiklashga qaratilgan uri- nish samara bermadi. S. adabiy-badiiy yo&#8217;nalish sifatida o&#8217;z umrini o&#8217;tagan bo&#8217;lsada, uning gulla- gan davrida ishlab chiqilgan ayrim badi- iy usul va vositalardan tasviriy san&#8217;at, teatr va kinodan tashqari, amaliy san&#8217;- atda ham istifoda etilmoqda.
